Specialty Paving and Grading LLC

Location:Prescott, AZ

Job Type:Full-time

Pay:\$25 to \$27 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:Monday to Friday, typically 40 to 50 hours per week

Travel:Occasional travel as needed

About the Role

Specialty Paving and Grading is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to help keep our jobs running safely and on schedule. This role is responsible for hauling materials and equipment, completing daily inspections, securing loads properly, and supporting the field team with reliable deliveries.

We want someone who takes safety seriously, communicates well, and takes pride in keeping their truck clean, compliant, and road-ready.

What Success Looks Like

• Delivers materials and equipment safely, on time, and without damage
• Follows DOT requirements and company procedures every day
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections consistently
• Communicates delays, access issues, or jobsite problems early
• Helps protect the truck, crew, public, and jobsite through safe driving and proper load securement

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles in accordance with DOT and company standards
• Transport materials and equipment to and from jobsites
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs, tickets, and delivery paperwork
• Properly load, secure, cover, and unload materials and equipment
• Use spotters and safe backing practices in tight or active jobsites
• Report vehicle issues, delays, hazards, or jobsite concerns immediately
• Keep the truck clean, fueled, and ready for the next shift

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurability requirements
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Able to travel when needed
