Honeywell Senior Contracts Representative – Project Procurement in Praha, Czech Republic
As a Sr Contracts Representative Project Procurement here at Honeywell, you will serve as a key legal partner supporting project procurement and project execution activities. In this role, you will provide end‑to‑end contracting support for project‑related commercial agreements, helping to ensure alignment with project delivery requirements, compliance with company policies, and effective mitigation of legal and commercial risk.
You will report directly to the Assistant General Counsel and work out of our Prague, Czechia location on a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal and commercial contracting support for project procurement activities, including supplier, subcontractor, and project execution/management activites
Manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for project‑related agreements, including drafting, negotiation, execution, amendment, and close‑out
Support RFx processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP) by advising on contracting strategy, preparing and reviewing commercial terms, and supporting bid evaluation and award activities
Partner with Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to align contract terms with project scope, schedules, milestones, and delivery requirements
Develop, negotiate, and maintain standard and non‑standard project contract structures (e.g., MSAs, Statements of Work, framework agreements, subcontract templates, project flowdowns)
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and commercial risks, including delivery and schedule risk, warranty exposure, intellectual property protections, limitations of liability, indemnities, and change control mechanisms
Support contract administration during project execution, including handling contract changes, variations, claims, and dispute prevention or resolution
Ensure compliance with Honeywell policies, procurement governance standards, approval authorities, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate, audit‑ready contract records and documentation
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of experience managing and negotiating commercial contracts
Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial terms in a project‑based environment
Experience supporting procurement or project teams in RFx‑related contracting activities
Ability to translate project requirements into enforceable contractual obligations tied to delivery, performance, and acceptance
Experience with contract change management, claims support, and dispute resolution
Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
