Are you passionate about engineering, enjoy travelling, and love sharing your knowledge? We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer & Technical Trainer to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be at the forefront of commissioning cutting-edge systems worldwide, while also empowering our customers and partners through impactful training sessions.
You can be based anywhere in the Czech republic.
MWM offers energy solutions based on high-performance gas engines, used in highly efficient combined heat and power (CHP) plants for decentralized energy generation. Our customized cogeneration power plants and integrated solutions support our customers in making their energy supply efficient, flexible, and future-proof. In 1871, Carl Benz laid the basis for MWM by founding the “Mechanical Workshop“ in Mannheim. Today, the MWM brand is part of Caterpillar Energy Solutions and combines more than 150 years of experience in the development and optimization of gas engines and generator sets for natural gas, biogas, and other special gases.
What will be your task at this position?
Lead the complete commissioning process at customer sites worldwide.
Deliver technical training sessions for our MWM service network and customers to enhance their understanding and experience with our products.
Serve as a key liaison between the company and clients, ensuring clear communication and adherence to quality standards
Prepare detailed MWM - commissioning reports documenting progress, issues, and resolutions.
Conduct equipment inspections, identify issues, and perform troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
What do we expect from a suitable candidate?
Education in the electrical engineering field
Hands-on experience with engine/generator installations or similar technical projects.
Proficient in English (additional languages are a plus).
Willingness to travel extensively (50%+ of working time).
Strong understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to delivering exceptional support.
Solid knowledge of machinery design, maintenance, and repair.
