Essential Functions

• Harmonise data and quality control prior data ingestion in software.

• Assist in managing the flow of data from site source systems to IQVIA CDM and into final applications (e.g., OMOP convertor).

• Support the data mapping process by producing and maintaining documentation that outlines data lineage and transformation logic.

• Collaborate with ETL developers to provide input and clarification on data requirements and mappings.

• Participate in the review of data integration outcomes and help identify upstream data issues.

• Coordinate with application SMEs and technical teams to support resolution of data-related issues.

• Contribute to the change request process by documenting issues and supporting technical teams in implementing updates.

• Work with data consultancy teams to understand data requirements and ensure relevant data is included in the CDM.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

• Clinical Research or Epidemiology (with strong data focus)

• At least 2 years of experience in clinical data management, ETL support, or data operations in a healthcare or life sciences setting.

Technical Skills

• Regulatory complexity (GDPR, HIPAA)

• Data sensitivity and security

• Integration with clinical systems (e.g., HL7, FHIR)

• Familiarity with clinical data models (e.g., OMOP, CDISC).

• Basic understanding of ETL processes and tools (e.g., SQL, Talend, Informatica, DataDog, Prefect).

• Experience with data documentation and mapping.

• Data analysis (e.g., R)

• Oncology data knowledge (optional)
