CoccoKayBites specializes in Authentic Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani, Indian snacks and chai tea, along with custom cakes, desserts, and bubble tea. We are passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service in a welcoming and vibrant environment.
Front of House Positions Include:
- Cash register/food serving - $12 per hour
- Bubble tea specialist - $14-15 per hour
Position Summary:
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic Front of House Team Members to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing beverages (including bubble tea and chai), serving food, operating the register, and creating a positive customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve bubble tea, chai, and other specialty beverages
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions (cash/card/mobile payments)
- Serve food items and ensure presentation meets quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front counter, beverage station, and dining area
- Restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or food service experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Willingness to learn beverage preparation techniques (training provided)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience making bubble tea, coffee, or specialty drinks
- Cash handling experience
- Passion for food, beverages, and customer service
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Standing for extended periods
- Weekend and evening availability may be required
