We are seeking a Program Manager to join our Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Program Management group in Poway, CA. This position will lead and manage multiple DMSMS projects, including obsolescence issue resolution activities and process development/improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing exceptional multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills to the role along with strong overall Program Management experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and execution of resolution strategies for multiple concurrent obsolescence issues, considering technical and non-technical mitigation options, supply posture analysis, and customer/product impacts.
Collaborate with Program Management Offices and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and drive results.
Shape and negotiate SOW, PWS, and CDRL requirements with program teams and customers for new and existing programs.
Prepare and present executive-level briefs to communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations effectively.
Act as the primary customer focal point for DMSMS-related activities, lead customer Obsolescence Working Groups, and develop/support PMR/TIM briefs on DMS issues.
Coordinate last-time-buy forecasts and run-out analyses to support obsolescence planning.
Monitor project performance to ensure cost, schedule, and technical objectives are met.
Drive continuous improvement in DMSMS processes and initiatives.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support their professional growth.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and obligations while maintaining confidentiality and security of proprietary information.

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in engineering, science or a related technical field as well as eleven or more years of progressively complex program administration experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Proven ability to manage and problem-solve across a large number of projects simultaneously.
Ability to drive results and manage teams with members from various groups across the company.
Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills, with attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade and collaborate diplomatically.
Ability to shape SOW, PWS, and CDRL requirements in collaboration with customers and teams.
A fast learner who adapts quickly to new challenges and environments.
Customer-focused, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
Flexible to work extended hours and travel as required.
