Job Description
The production assembler performs repetitive, detail-oriented assembly work to produce high-quality parts and products in a manufacturing environment, using hand tools.
Responsibilities
Perform basic and repetitive mechanical assembly using hand tools and small-part assembly techniques.
Operate production machines to produce parts in accordance with established standards, guidelines, and quality requirements.
Use hand tools and, when required, a microscope to assemble small components and ensure precise workmanship.
Inspect parts and finished products for workmanship defects or flaws and report any issues immediately to management.
Detect and report machine or tool malfunctions to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Document production activities as requested, including counts, work performed, and any relevant production data.
Perform related tasks such as counting, packaging, labeling, and bagging produced parts or raw materials in preparation for kitting
Work both independently and as part of a team to support overall production goals.
Be available and willing to work overtime when required to meet production demands.
Essential Skills
At least 6+ months of production or manufacturing experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfort with repetitive production and assembly tasks.
Experience using hand tools in a production or assembly setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
