JOB TITLE: Human Resources Assistant
NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 1 -- 1st Shift
PAY RANGE: $16.50 - $30.50 per hour.
Pay based on qualifications and experience.

Under the direction of and reports to: Human Resources Manager
Job Summary:
• Perform various clerical and statistical assignments for the Human Resources Manager where a high level of confidentiality, integrity, business acumen is imperative, and knowledge of the organization, procedures, and policies are essential.
Confidentiality:
• Employee shall not, either during the period of employment or thereafter, except where authorized or directed by Patz in writing, disclose to others either verbally, electronically, or otherwise, use for employee's own benefit, copy, or make notes of any confidential information or trade secrets other than that which is in public knowledge, of or relating to Patz' business, which may come to employee's knowledge during employment with Patz.
Essential Job Duties:
• Compose and type correspondence regarding personnel reports and procedures. • Compile a wide variety of regular and special reports selecting data from various sources which include assisting in the preparation of the affirmative action plan. • Monitor all attendance line call-ins and forward e-mail messages from answering service to supervisors. • Maintain employment resumes, application forms, and applicant flow logs in line with company policy. • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, employee leaves of absence, vacation, personal time records, etc. • Set up and complete testing, interviewing and new hire orientations. • Answers routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on employment verifications, and job openings in line with written company policy on these matters. • Maintain employee data collection system with activation/termination and daily processing. • Coordinate pre-employment physicals, drug screen and audio test appointments. • Participate in monthly safety meetings as a member of the safety committee. • Aide departments in safety training materials and documents, along with recording of minutes in safety meetings. • Verification of monthly reports relating to insurance, attendance, vacation, etc. • Prepare, scan, and review various documents for electronic filing from various departments. • Assist employees with vending machine issues and notify vending distributors of machines needingtechnical service. • Perform such tasks deemed necessary by Human Resources Manager and/or VP of Finance.
