Tesserais seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Driver tosafely and efficiently operate combination vehicleswith a gross weight of26,001 poundsor more and towing capacity exceeding10,000 poundsat WSBOSC. This role includes operating tractors with flatbed, lowboy, dry van, refrigerated, and heavy haul trailers to transport personnel and products both on public highways and within the military base.The Driver is expected to provide safe, timely, and courteous service while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Operate heavy vehicles, including tractor/trailer combinations, for personnel and cargo transport. Deliver cargo and vehicles, including HAZMAT and oversized loads, ensuring proper load security. Perform pre-trip inspections, preventive maintenance, and fueling of vehicles. Maintainaccuratetrip logs and clear communication with customers. Support motor pool operations, including medium truck and bus driving as needed. Uphold safety, compliance, and professional appearanceat all times. Qualifications: Highschool Diploma/GED isrequired. CDL Class Arequired, with HAZMAT and passenger endorsement preferred. TWIC preferred. Forklift certificationis preferred. Mustpossessa valid US Government Motor Vehicle Operator's Identification Card. Must have current or be able to obtain Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT Card) beforehire. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability toperformthe following physical demands for extended periods of time with or withoutassistance.
