Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an LPN in Poughkeepsie, New York! This role is in person / onsite. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume.

Position Type: 4.5-month contract with possible extension

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay: $28-$34/hr(DOE)

Responsibilities of the LPN

  • Provider Collaboration: Works closely with the healthcare provider to facilitate patient care and efficient office flow.

  • Communication Management: Manages heavy phone volume, handling patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately.

  • Patient Follow-up: Conducts outgoing patient follow-up calls to communicate test results or provider instructions.

  • Task Coordination: Efficiently manages daily clinical tasks and administrative duties to support the medical team.

  • Documentation: Accurately records patient information and updates charts within the electronic medical record system.

  • Clinical Support: Performs all other related duties as assigned within the scope of a Medical Assistant's practice.

Qualifications of the Medical Assistant:

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience is preferred and considered a strong plus.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with EPIC software is highly preferred and will set a candidate apart.

  • Certifications: Medical Assistant certification/registration and current BLS Certification.

  • Professionalism: Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and represent the facility with a high level of courtesy.

Working Environment & Requirements:

  • Onsite: 100% onsite at the Poughkeepsie location; no travel to other sites or patient homes is required.

  • Interview Process: Initial interviews will be conducted via Phone .

Pay Details: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour
