Nuvance Health Clinical Education Coordinator in Poughkeepsie, New York

Summary:

The Clinical Education Coordinator supports the daily operations of Nuvance Health's Clinical Education department. This role is essential in assisting with key projects and goals, as well as handling the onboarding and offboarding process for all non-employee learners within Nuvance Health. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and a passion for providing high-quality support in a fast-paced healthcare education environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Onboarding and Offboarding:
  • Manages the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for all non-employee learners, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state/federal regulations.

  • Utilizes student management software to track and update learner records accurately.

  • Coordinates background checks, health screenings and access credentials,

  1. Orientation and Integration:
  • Facilitates and supports student orientations and special events to ensure seamless integration into the program.

  • Develops and updates orientation materials, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all learners.

  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for students, schools, preceptors and other stakeholders, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries.

  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with academic institutions and clinical sites to support learner placements.

  1. Administrative Support:
  • Tracks incoming requests and directs them to the appropriate manager or department for resolution.

  • Assists Clinical Education Managers in organizing, reviewing, and analyzing survey responses to identify areas of improvement.

  • Maintains data integrity and prepares detailed reports on learner experiences and outcomes.

  1. Project Management:
  • Supports Clinical Education leadership in planning and executing strategic projects aimed at enhancing learner experiences and operational efficiency.

  • Coordinates logistics for meetings, training sessions, and team-building events.

  1. Recruitment Support:
  • Assists with tracking student conversion to hiring and provides data to the recruitment team to support talent acquisition efforts.

  2. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.

  3. Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Associate’s degree

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint

  • Easily adapts to new technology and windows-based programs

  • 3–5 years of previous experience in a hospital- or academic-based education setting preferred

  • Prior experience onboarding clinical learners, interns, or residents in an academic or healthcare system preferred

  • Prior experience managing compliance requirements (e.g., immunizations, background checks, onboarding documentation) preferred

Salary Range: $26.48 - $50.49 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
