Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts to specification. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and CAD models to determine machining processes and tool paths Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring instruments and make necessary adjustments. Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G & M code), blueprint reading, precision measurement, setup, troubleshooting, and tool selection.
