Beacon Hill Staffing Group EDI Specialist in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Location: Mostly remote - 1 day on site per month in the Pottstown, PA area
Position Description:
- Perform EDI testing, validation, and troubleshooting across healthcare transaction sets
- Provide clear, actionable feedback on EDI test results to internal teams and external partners.
- Manage and maintain EDI mappings, integrations, and data workflows.
- Conduct accurate and timely data entry related to EDI and system updates.
- Support the creation, modification, and review of firewall rules in partnership with cybersecurity teams.
- Participate in cyber risk assessments and assist with remediation activities.
- Ensure timely updates, documentation, and communication of EDI-related changes.
- Share testing results, updates, and feedback with clients via email in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, networking, and data teams.
- Serve as a point of contact for EDI-related inquiries and issue resolution.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of EDI experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare EDI standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Adaptability and willingness to support a wide range of technical tasks.
