POSITION OVERVIEW:

Maintain the facility in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Perform routine custodial and basic maintenance tasks, along with other assigned duties, to support the effective operation of the building.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting interior spaces

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and other common areas

  • Remove trash and recyclables and ensure proper disposal

  • Clean and maintain entryways, lobbies, sidewalks, and other exterior areas

  • Maintain grounds as needed, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and snow removal

  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; notify supervisor when inventory is low

  • Report maintenance, repair, or safety concerns promptly to the Corps Officer

  • Follow all safety procedures and proper use of cleaning products and equipment

  • Maintain the overall appearance and basic functionality of the facility and grounds

  • Assist with basic setup or cleanup for corps activities or events as needed

  • Attend staff meetings as requested

  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • One year of related custodial, maintenance, or cleaning experience preferred.

    SKILLS AND COMPETENICIES

  • Able to manage schedule and work independently to complete assigned tasks

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail

  • Reliable and consistent attendance

  • Ability to communicate basic needs or concerns to supervisor
