Professional Summary
Safety‑focused Machine Operator with experience in industrial manufacturing and chemical processing environments. Skilled in operating computer‑controlled production systems, monitoring automated processes from a control room, performing hands‑on chemical mixing and batching, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Comfortable working rotating shifts, extended hours, and wearing required personal protective equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Operated and monitored computer‑controlled systems to route, transport, and mix chemicals through piping systems and mixing tanks
Supported chemical mixing, processing, and manufacturing operations in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
Unloaded chemicals from tanker trucks and rail cars by safely connecting hoses and transferring materials into storage tanks
Routed base chemicals from storage tanks into mixing vessels to prepare production batches
Created chemical products by combining specified materials according to production formulas and batch instructions
Monitored automated chemical transportation and mixing processes from a control room environment
Manually added chemicals when required to complete batches or adjust formulations
Collected and tested batch samples to ensure products met quality and specification standards
Recorded production data, batch information, and process parameters using computer systems
Performed general labor and material handling tasks in support of production
Operated forklifts and material handling equipment when qualified
Maintained clean, organized, and safe work areas in both control room and production floor settings
Followed all safety protocols, including chemical handling procedures and proper use of PPE and respirators
Skills & Qualifications
Industrial manufacturing and production experience
Machine operation in a chemical or heavy industrial environment
Computer‑controlled process monitoring and documentation
Chemical handling and batch processing
Quality control testing and data recording
Forklift operation (if certified)
Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
Ability to work in both control room and production floor environments
Comfortable wearing a respirator for 20–30% of shift
Flexible schedule availability, including extended 12‑hour shifts
Additional Experience & Strengths
Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments (paper mills, foundries, or similar)
Willingness to learn detailed chemical processing procedures
Strong work ethic with interest in long‑term career growth and advancement
Reliable team player capable of meeting high production demands
Work Schedule & Environment
Regular shift: 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
Extended shifts as needed: Up to 12 hours (2:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.)
Initial training completed on day shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)
Combination of computer‑based control room work and hands‑on industrial floor tasks

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.88 - $24.38/hr.
