We're looking for a Chemical Engineer in Portland OR who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will establish chemical process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship (sponsorship will not be available for this role now or in the future)
Ideally, you will also have
Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Basic understanding of process design principles and standards
Previous relevant internship experience
Basic knowledge of ASPEN, PipeFlo (Professional and Compressible), AFT Fathom, HTRI, WinGems, and SmartPlant
Previous exposure to manufacturing processes, process engineering and design activities
Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain
