TAD PGS, Inc. CNC Machinist - Milling in Portland, Connecticut

We have an outstanding career opportunity for aCNC Machinist – Millingto join a leading Company located in the Portland, CTsurrounding area.

Salary:

1st shift: $52,000 - $83,200

2nd shift: $59,800 - $95,680

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce tight-tolerance aerospace components

  • Read blueprints and GD&T to plan and execute precise machining

  • Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to verify dimensions

  • Maintain equipment, production records, and quality standards

  • Assist with setups and ensure consistent production flow

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace preferred)

  • Strong understanding of GD&T and shop math (fractions, ratios, percentages)

  • CNC MILLING Experience

  • Skilled using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, depth gauges, and size blocks

  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and reliable

  • High school diploma or equivalent
