ManpowerGroup Boiler Operator in Portage, Michigan
Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Boiler Operator to join their team. As a Boiler Operator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Boiler Operator
Location: Portage, MI
Shift: M-F 1st shift
Pay rate: $32/hr- $34/hr
What's the Job?
Monitor and operate boiler and utility system equipment
Make necessary adjustments to main plant equipment
Troubleshoot equipment and respond to building automation or alarm systems
Perform routine and preventative maintenance
Conduct chemical analysis to optimize system performance
What's Needed?
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3-5 years of related facilities or boiler room experience
Class 4 NIULPE power engineers license
Working knowledge of boiler systems and operations
Ability to operate and understand diagnostic and computer equipment
