Banana Leaf Thai Bistro is a Thai restaurant located in Port Townsend, Washington. We have both outdoor and indoor seating. Our restaurant is just a two-minute walk to the waterfront and we have a variety of vegan and gluten-free dishes for customers who love Thai food but have dietary restrictions. We are currently looking for experienced and talented Thai Specialty Cooks. Specifically, our Thai Specialty Cooks will be responsible for the following duties:
- Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes using an understanding of the herbs and spices which permeate Thai cooking, including fermented fish sauce, shrimp pastes, lemongrass, coriander, galingale, garlic, and chilies;
- Cook in a fast-paced environment under time pressure;
- Prepare different types of Thai specialty sauces so the dishes contain unique and authentic Thai flavors; and
- Perform other health and sanitation duties as required by law.
SALARY: $43,784/year
