Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate, energetic, and motivated Behavior Technicians to join our growing team! BTs work 1:1 with children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support skill development, communication, and independence.
This is a hands-on, play-based role where creativity, patience, and consistency are key.
What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children in a clinic setting
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA
- Collect and record data on client progress
- Support skill development in communication, social interaction, play, and daily living
- Use positive reinforcement and behavior strategies to reduce challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with BCBAs, OTs, and team members
- Maintain a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Passion for working with children (experience with special needs is a plus!)
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Ability to stay engaged, playful, and patient throughout sessions
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of ABA
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred but not required)
- RBT/CBT certification (or willingness to obtain within 2--3 weeks of hire, we will guide you!)
- Background check required
