Job Title: Machine Operator in Manufacturing Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to handle automotive metal parts within a dynamic and physically demanding manufacturing environment. The role involves unloading parts into machines and performing quality checks to ensure proper labeling and storage. This is an opportunity to work with advanced robotic systems in a well-lit, busy facility.
Responsibilities
Lift and handle metal automotive parts weighing between 20-45 lbs every 2-3 minutes.
Unload parts into machines and ensure they are securely clamped.
Perform quality checks on products and store them according to part numbers.
Collaborate with robotic systems for unloading and stacking parts.
Essential Skills
Experience in physically demanding roles such as construction, farming, or landscaping.
Ability to lift 25-40 lbs frequently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, especially in machine operation and quality assurance.

Work Environment
The work setting is a manufacturing facility specializing in metal machining. It is a loud and busy environment but well-lit to ensure safety and efficiency. Employees will work shifts, including a lot of Saturdays, with rare Sunday shifts offering double-time pay.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
