Bayside Housing & Services Hotel Housekeeper in Port Hadlock, Washington

When you join our housekeeping team, you aren't just cleaning a room; you are directly supporting the mission to provide safe, stable housing for those in need. Every bed made and every surface polished helps keep our community programs running.

The Role

We are looking for a thorough Housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards. This is a vital role in our small, tight-knit crew. Because our revenue fuels our non-profit mission, your reliability and attention to detail are the backbone of our success.

Part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean & Tidy: Maintain all guest areas to high standards within set time limits.
  • Mission Support: Deliver excellent customer service that keeps guests coming back to support Bayside Housing.
  • Accountability: Create daily job lists and accurately record all serviced rooms.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Report shortages, damages, or security issues immediately. Maintain equipment in top condition.
  • Guest Relations: Handle reasonable guest requests or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and company policies.

Requirements & Physical Demands

  • Reliability is Non-Negotiable: Because we are a small crew, consistent attendance is vital. You must be able to work your scheduled shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to Port Hadlock.
  • Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Experience: 1 year of cleaning experience is preferred, but we are happy to train anyone with the right attitude.
  • Food Handler's Card: Must be obtained within first 30 days of employment.
