The Resort at Erie Landing is an ideal RV resort and marina located on the Portage River near Lake Erie. We offer much more than upscale RV sites. Set on 375 spectacular acres along the scenic shores and islands of Ohio's north coast, our resort gives guests the chance to enjoy beautifully maintained grounds, waterways, and a variety of activities.

At Erie Landing, we combine the fun and convenience of camping with the amenities of resort vacationing. Our seasonal campers return year after year to their home away from home, and we take pride in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest.

The Resort at Erie Landing is seeking responsible and attentive individuals to join our team as Lifeguards for the upcoming season. This role is essential to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests and campers.

*Lifeguards *will be responsible for monitoring pool or waterfront activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding quickly and effectively in emergency situations. This position is ideal for individuals who are alert, dependable, and confident in handling high-responsibility situations with professionalism and sound judgment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to stay focused for extended periods, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and committed to helping create a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests throughout the season. This is a SEASONAL position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool and/or waterfront activities to ensure guest safety
• Enforce all posted safety rules and procedures
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
• Maintain awareness of guest activity and potential hazards
• Provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for guests and campers
• Work cooperatively with team members and management to support daily operations

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Certification, or willingness to obtain certification
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quick decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Certification reimbursement and training assistance may be available for the right candidate.

Schedule Requirements

• Must be available for the full season from Memorial Day through Labor Day
• Weekend and holiday availability is required
