TxDOTs Beaumont District is looking for a General Transportation Tech I, II, or III to join us in our Port Arthur Maintenance Section.
This position performs routine work related to transportation activities such as construction inspection, routine and contract maintenance inspection, bridge inspection and record keeping, roadway maintenance and repair, light and heavy equipment operation, preventive and minor maintenance on equipment, traffic control, assisting the public during emergency situations, and training other employees.
We offer company-sponsored CDL training with $0 upfront monetary commitment. Earn your full salary while training with lodging, transportation and per-diem provided if necessary.
Position Title Salary Grade/Range
General Transportation Tech I A16: $40,918 - $61,130/yearly
General Transportation Tech II A17: $42,976 - $64,469/yearly
General Transportation Tech III A18: $45,521 - $71,055/yearly
