Overview We are seeking a few dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are required shifts for this position.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and ensure that cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to uphold health and safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Skills
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices.
- Experience in housekeeping within hospitality settings is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50lb, carry laundry and caddies up and down stairs, and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift.
