What you will do:

The Activities Coordinator works as a staff member of the Education Department. Primarily responsible for providing coordination, structure and accountability to the site physical fitness and athletic programs.

  • Coordinates the set up and logistics for all home games and contests including but not limited to: field and court preparation, gate, public address announcer, web casts, and scorekeeping.

  • Coordinates and schedules all applicable athletic events in conjunction with the Athletic Director and CIF guidelines.

  • Assists the Athletic Director with maintaining a master file of ROP athletic documentation including but not limited to: records, eligibility, team rosters, practice plans, and incidents.

  • Communicates all event results and/or issues to the Western Region Athletic Director and ensures all head coaches send contest results to regional media.

  • Administers, tracks and submits scores to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness.

  • Identifies needs, places approved orders, and inventories all athletic supplies and equipment in conjunction with head coaches and the Athletic Director.

  • Evaluates all athletic activities and sports at the end of each season and reports to the Athletic Director.

  • Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner, provides management with required reports and advises of any problematic situations.

  • Complies with and implements the Rite of Passage Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate manuals/handbooks.

    To be considered you should:

BA/BS degree preferred.

Teaching certification preferred.

Working knowledge of the Positive Operational Culture.

Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise students.

Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.

Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. 

Be able to work in excess of 40 hours per week with the possibility of a varied schedule.
