If you take pride in precision, thrive on solving tough electro-mechanical challenges, and enjoy leading by example, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
As a senior member of the team, you'll be trusted to lead complex repairs, guide others, and ensure top-tier workmanship:

Perform advanced troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems
Execute and oversee dynamic balancing of rotors and armatures
Conduct vibration analysis (Level 1+) and interpret results to drive repairs

Lead tear-down, inspection, and rebuild processes with a focus on quality and efficiency
Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and training to mechanics and apprentices
Ensure all work meets EMC's quality and safety standards
Support and occasionally lead field service projects, including equipment removal and installation
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, and increase shop efficiency
What Sets You Apart
We're looking for a professional who has both technical expertise and leadership:
Proven experience repairing industrial electric motors and rotating equipment
Strong understanding of electrical theory and motor design
Skilled with precision tools: micrometers, calipers, dial indicators
Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and medium-voltage testing equipment
Ability to troubleshoot independently and make sound technical decisions
A natural mentor who enjoys developing others and elevating team performance
High standards for quality, safety, and workmanship
Valid driver's license and willingness to support field work as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on role in a shop environment requiring:
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Standing, walking, and working with tools for extended periods
