THE WORK:
You’ll support specific workstreams or short‑term projects with moderate to highly variable interdependencies, managing shifting priorities and agile deadlines.
You’ll proactively drive results through independent effort and may act as a lead for other Project Management Specialists.
You’ll conduct analysis and deliver status reports that clearly communicate project health, risks, and potential roadblocks in complex environments.
You’ll apply advanced, in‑depth knowledge of project management principles, methods, procedures, and practices across the full project lifecycle.
You’ll coordinate activities required to support successful execution of project tasks and deliverables.
You’ll identify problems and propose solutions, providing input into project objectives, timelines, risks, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
You’ll lead project teams under the direction of a Project Manager.
You’ll identify and resolve issues and conflicts among team members, escalating to the Project Manager when necessary.
You’ll prepare analyses and presentations to communicate facts, practices, and policies to internal stakeholders and project teams.
You’ll serve as the primary liaison with internal and external project stakeholders.
You’ll exercise independent judgment to advise and recommend courses of action, contributing to decisions that establish or adjust project direction.
You’ll proactively support project team needs, provide timely reminders, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
You’ll interact and coordinate with external agencies, licensing authorities, and cross‑functional project teams as required.
You’ll maintain project tracking tools and databases, obtain status updates, and perform related administrative activities.
You’ll recognize and capture key verbal cues during meetings, including action items, requests, and follow‑up sessions.
You’ll work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
You’ll adapt quickly and reprioritize day‑to‑day activities in response to evolving challenges.
Flexible work environment:The work location for this role may include a combination of remote work, client‑site presence, and time in an Accenture office or delivery center.
All roles include some in‑person collaboration to support learning, relationship‑building, and teamwork. Accenture offers flexibility wherever possible to support individual work‑life needs.
$94,000 - $117,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Associate degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
5+ years’ project support experience
2+ years’ project management experience
Professional experience and advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
Electrical Infrastructure construction experience
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or related field
• Project Management Certificate
• Demonstrated experience working in a utility or contractor environment supporting the development and/or execution of major transmission or distribution projects/programs, large capital projects, or Third-Party interconnection projects
• Has supported PMs that manage projects from beginning through execution
• Demonstrated intermediate- to advanced-level experience using P6, SAP, Microsoft Office suite, including spreadsheet and presentation software tools to report out data trends and analysis
• Demonstrated experience with applications such as SharePoint, Aconex or other document management platforms
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple disciplines, interdepartmental teams and engaging with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders
• Ability to proactively manage time constraints, prioritize work, and resolve project related concerns through strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization
• Customer focused and have ability to understand and appropriately respond to internal and external stakeholders’ business needs
• Strong ethics, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning
