We are looking for a Landscape Designer/Estimator to join our company located in one of the most beautiful locations in northwestern Montana. In this position, you will use software to help bring our clients landscaping dreams to life, both residential and commercial. Computer and design skills are required. You will also need to be familiar with what types of plants thrive in zones 3-5, so horticultural experience is beneficial. You are also responsible for estimating the cost of the project with assistance from other staff. Some physical labor during the project may be required. Landscape Designer Duties and Responsibilities. -Talk to the client to determine what they want -Create a final design to present and contract with clients -Help oversee the landscaping team as they bring your concept to life Landscape Designer Requirements and Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or landscape design or 3-5 years of design experience -AutoCAD experience or any CAD related software experience -Knowledge of design concepts, irrigation techniques, and hardscaping Schedule: -Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Supplemental Pay: -Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: -Polson, MT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Experience: -AutoCAD or similar: 1 year (Preferred) -Landscape design: 3 years (Preferred) Salary: -$50,000 to $70,000 annually based upon experience.
