Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is hiringCold Storage Forklift Operatorsfor afood processing warehouse environmentin American Falls, ID. This position is ideal for candidates with experience incold storage, food production, or refrigerated warehouse operations.

The right candidate will be comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments while safely operating forklifts to move food-grade products throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklift in a cold storage / refrigerated warehouse setting

Load, unload, and transport food products and materials

Support food processing and production operations

Maintain accurate inventory and product handling

Follow all food safety (GMP) and warehouse safety standards

Perform routine equipment checks and report issues

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

Cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience

Food processing or food production environment experience

Forklift operation in warehouse or distribution settings

Understanding ofGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Requirements:

Ability to operate a forklift safely

Comfortable working in cold or temperature-controlled environments

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Reliable attendance and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts

Strong attention to safety and detail

Schedule:

Rotating 12-hour shifts (day and night)

Set schedule will be provided

Overtime may be available

Pay & Benefits:

\$22.09\$23.59/hour depending on experience
