JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of statistical, expediting, and coordinating duties related to the purchasing functions. They are accountable for coordinating and and expediting of incoming material in accordance with production/finished product requirements and maintaining sufficient inventory of materials from outside vendors to ensure all requirements are met. In addition, this position will provide other support to Procurement including SAP reports, and other general data reporting. Your Story. Act as the primary coordinator for raw material status on all production orders that have a material availability tag attached to it. Originate purchase orders as needed based on current or forecasted demand. Coordinate and expedite delivery of materials to all Sargento plants. Communicate any changes in expected delivery date, quantity or location to production, traffic/receiving in a timely manner. Follow-up with suppliers concerning late deliveries and communicate to production planning and procurement buyers.
