SARGENTO FOODS INC Network Administrator in PLYMOUTH, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Network Administrator is responsible for building, supporting, and administering network and telecommunications infrastructure across manufacturing and office environments. This role partners closely with Engineering, Electrical contractors, Wireless SMEs, and AV vendors to deliver MDF/IDF telecom room buildouts, fiber and copper cabling, wireless deployments, paging systems, and enterprise telephony. The Network Administrator also performs ongoing administration of Cisco network platforms (Catalyst, Nexus), Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Informacast Fusion, ensuring reliable connectivity and operational uptime for plant and business operations. Provide Tier-2 network support, troubleshooting complex LAN, WAN, WLAN, Voice, and security incidents while maintaining clear documentation and collaborating with service desk and cross-functional teams. Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers and access points. Collaborate with engineering and facilities teams to design and build MDF/IDF telecom rooms, coordinating racks, power, UPS, grounding, pathways, and environmental requirements while ensuring adherence to standards. Partner with electrical vendors to plan fiber routes, structured cabling, and network drops, overseeing installation, termination, testing, labeling, and as-built documentation. Support manufacturing and office connectivity, including switchport configuration, VLANs, cutovers, and validation for laptops, printers, phones, and plant endpoints.
