What’s the job?

Under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor and/or Line Lead, the Production Operator is accountable for performing required tasks necessary to meet production goals on a production line in a team-oriented environment. This is done with an emphasis on the following:

Employee Safety
Product Quality
Production Efficiencies

Responsible for rotating in the feeding, stacking, and offloading positions, maintaining rate as defined in the recipe
Monitor the machine while the Machine Operators break, following the defined SOPs
Set up production equipment following established equipment settings
Follow standard operating procedures and recipes
Set up line following established equipment settings
Fill out maintenance work orders and assists Maintenance Technicians as needed
Maintain quality of product on production line by ensuring product standards are being followed
Continually monitor product, to detect and resolve issues utilizing CI tools
Track and/or fill out metrics required to accurately close out production work orders

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9pm-7am Overtime on Sunday as Scheduled

Compensation: starting 23.07 an hour + $1.00 for 3rd shift premium
What do you bring?
-
High School Diploma is preferred
1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
Work experience in manufacturing with Lean Principles and/or Continuous Improvement
Prior experience operating manufacturing equipment
