Lab Technician - Gluten Lab

Job Description

This position requires a candidate with basic chemistry laboratory experience who demonstrates meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring daily quality parameters are met, organizing workloads, and prioritizing samples to maximize output while adhering to quality control and ISO requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Organize workload and prioritize samples to maximize output and meet deadlines.

  • Execute ELISA Kit testing methods effectively.

  • Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure compliance with quality control and ISO requirements.

  • Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with safety rules.

  • Provide cross-functional support across various business needs.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and independent decision-making.

  • Handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities with minimal guidance.

Essential Skills

  • Basic chemistry laboratory experience.

  • Proficient in ELISA testing methods.

  • Knowledge of quality control and GMP/GLP standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-year or 4-year science degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, Environmental Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field.

  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and LIMS.

  • Experience in a GMP/GLP environment or undergraduate research.

  • Experience with ELISA from industry or coursework.

Work Environment

This role is based in a lab environment where you will be required to stand for long periods of time. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and has a strong focus on food safety and nutritional testing. Holiday pay is included in the benefits package. This is a full-time position from Sunday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Contract position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
