Position Overview:
You will serve as a key member of the PG&A Off-Road team, providing reporting, analysis, and business insights that support category sales, profitability, and dealer retail growth. In this role, you will interpret sales, market, consumer, competitive, and merchandising data to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and inform business decisions. You will partner with category leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver reporting packages, support planning activities, and recommend actions that improve performance across the business. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver weekly and monthly business insights for the category team, including performance tracking, commodity reporting, sales trends, dollars per unit, and attachment rates.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting packages for PG&A leadership, including analysis and recommendations to support short- and long-term sales growth, with visibility to the Polaris executive leadership team.
Analyze market, competitive, sales, dealer retail, and inventory data to identify performance opportunities and risks, and develop recommendations to improve category results and dealer retail growth.
Partner with leadership to evaluate PG&A commodity performance, build business cases, and project manage short- and long-term improvement plans.
Work with PG&A and Off Road Marketing and Sales teams to gather and analyze consumer insights across the customer experience and provide input for long-range product planning, product launches, and category plans.
Support global PG&A category reporting strategies by improving data design, maintaining consistency in reporting templates, and organizing datasets and reports.
Identify positive and negative sales trends and work with the category team to drive countermeasure actions and performance improvement.
Support analysis for new market entry, including business case development, line planning, and dollars-per-unit goal recommendations.
Leverage product line management information, design-to-value initiatives, and price elasticity work to inform product and pricing recommendations.
Attend industry events to gather consumer insights and use findings to strengthen analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Finance.
Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate business analytics.
Strong analytical and project management skills, including experience using quantitative and qualitative market research tools.
Strong communication skills required; written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions and with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Power BI, and SQL. Python experience is a plus.
Some travel may be required, up to 10 percent.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $72,000 to $94,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
