TEKsystems Member Services Representative in Plymouth, Michigan
About the Role
We are seeking a Member Services Representative / Loan Assistant to join a member-focused financial institution with a strong community presence and a family-oriented culture. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding member experiences.
You’ll support members with everyday banking needs while also providing administrative and clerical assistance to the Loan Processing team. This position is highly hands-on, with leaders who are actively involved in training and development.
Key Responsibilities
Open, close, and maintain member accounts
Assist members with a wide range of financial products and services
Open and maintain Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
Support members with legal accounts (e.g., guardianship, power of attorney)
Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and online channels
Process transactions such as wire transfers, stop payments, address changes, travel notices, and check orders
Set up debit cards and assist with online/home banking
Handle account inquiries and assist with fraud-related issues
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Loan Processing Department
Prepare and send loan packages as requested
Maintain accurate filing systems and retrieve documentation as needed
Generate and update interest rate sheets in the system
Communicate with members and internal partners in the absence of a Loan Officer
Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience with DNA/Fiserv systems is preferred but not required.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Banking or credit union experience
Familiarity with DNA banking software
Experience with death claims, guardianships, conservatorships, or POA accounts
Fraud resolution experience
Sports or competitive background (valued for teamwork and drive)
Training & Onboarding
On-site orientation at your assigned branch
Initial days focused on paperwork and shadowing
Progressive, hands-on training based on learning pace

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $47840.00/yr.
