As the Business Program Manager - Sales Incentive Plan Strategist , you will serve as a strategic business partner responsible for the design, governance, and execution of Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) that drive sales performance, profitable growth, and behavioral alignment with enterprise objectives. This role blends compensation strategy, financial rigor, sales performance analytics, and cross‑functional leadership to ensure incentive programs are competitive, equitable, compliant, and operationally effective.
As the Business Program Manager - Sales Incentive Plan Strategist, you will:
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of sales compensation and incentive plans
Drive annual incentive plan creation and modification cycles, ensuring timely rollout and governance
Translate commercial strategy into measurable and motivating incentive mechanics
Analyze sales and incentive performance data to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements
Partner with Finance to ensure incentive cost remains within budget and provide transparent reporting
Support the end‑to‑end quota setting process in partnership with sales leadership
Lead change initiatives related to incentive programs, tools, and processes
Resolve incentive calculation errors, disputes, and inquiries in partnership with Finance
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and local state requirements
Align with global incentive professionals on standards and governance
Provide coaching, training, and clear communication to sales stakeholders
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field
Experience in Sales Incentive Plan design, administration, or governance
Experience with compensation software (Anaplan preferred)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with compensation modeling experience
Proficiency with CRM platforms and data analysis tools such as Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
