Athena Health Care Systems Smoking Attendant in Plymouth, Massachusetts
Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring a full-time Smoking Attendant!
9:15a-5:15p during the week. $18/hour with weekly pay.
You provide the residents with a clean and orderly smoking environment and assist residents with smoking tasks.
Experience & Education:
On-the-job training provided.
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist residents with smoking, lighting materials, and or help with transportation to and from the designated smoking area.
Maintain a clean designated smoking area for residents.
Transportation of the residents to and from the designated smoking area.
Ensuring residents maintain a safe smoking environment.
Specific Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.

Must be able to communicate effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
