Shared Living Collaborative PCA in Plymouth, Massachusetts
Part Time PCA for Plymouth, MA 02360 The Shared Living Collaborative is a unique human service agency providing an array of Therapeutic Supports to Adults with disabilities in the Merrimack Valley. We are looking for a part time PCA (Independent Contractor) per diem to work 21 hours per week to assist an Individual with Cerebral Palsy in a private home in Plymouth, MA. Flexible per diem hours are available for afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Duties: Provide direct care support to disabled Individual with physical challenges residing in a private Shared Living Home (similar to an Adult Foster Home) Assist with transportation, wheelchair transport, personal care, shopping, medical appointments, recreational and therapeutic activities, ADLs, and respite. Follow and implement all safety guidelines, procedures, and assessment results to ensure that Individuals health, personal, and safety needs are met at all times. Participate in all necessary training, obtain required certifications, and perform non- skilled nursing tasks (training provided), such as tube feedings, as needed. Be available to work afternoons, evenings, holidays, and/or weekends as agreed upon CPR/First Aid certification required. (training can be provided) This is an Independent Contractor position. Fingerprint-based criminal background check required.
