Department Details:
The TPMG People Strategy & Operations team champions innovation and transformative change to advance people-centered initiatives that empower and develop leaders and teams, drive value, and strengthen the success of our organization. The team supports TPMG operational leaders with a variety functions including employee experience; total rewards; learning & development; HR consulting, compliance, & disability; organizational effectiveness; and talent acquisition and management.
Internship Projects:
A summer intern on the TPMG People Strategy & Operations team will support a variety of initiatives including:
Creating a communication strategy for HR and people-related communications to operational leaders
Creating and updating SharePoint sites for one or more people strategy initiatives
Creating templates for panel interviews
Supporting the development of a new People Leader Hub
Reviewing, analyzing, and validating data to identify trends and gaps for a variety of people strategy initiatives, including talent acquisition data
Supporting New Leader Onboarding including greeting new managers, setting out catering, preparing packets
Tracking completion of new leader presentations
Supporting process improvement initiatives to enhance departmental functions and collaboration

Target Skillset:
Strong written communication for crafting clear, concise messaging to operational leaders
Verbal communication and comfort interacting with leaders
Ability to collaborate across teams and work with subject-matter experts
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Organization and attention to detail
Microsoft 365 proficiency including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Basic data analysis (sorting, filtering, identifying trends) and validation
Process mapping or documentation experience, including ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements

Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

3.0 GPA or above. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
