Job Summary The Maintenance Supervisor ensures completion of planned maintenance work selected for the daily schedule through maintenance coordination. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring the seamless continuation of work in progress as outlined in the work schedule. This role includes the prompt execution of emergency work orders received directly from Operations, requiring quick decision-making and effective resource allocation. The Supervisor holds full management responsibility for their crew, including ensuring safety compliance, maintaining high standards of work quality and efficiency, assessing team skills, facilitating training and development, and handling administrative personnel matters. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational continuity and supporting the overall performance of the maintenance department. Key Responsibilities Ensures adherence to safety policies and protocols so that jobs are performed safely. Discusses functional assignments with the Planner on complex job packages and reports craft recommendations to Planner for improving work procedures and plans. Manages the daily work schedule, informs craft of work assignments, and ensures work order workflow adherence Ensures that plant equipment, tools, and materials are available before starting a job and follows up on jobs to determine progress and status of the daily work.
