JOB REQUIREMENTS: HARIBO of America Manufacturing, LLC seeks a Manager, Maintenance-Electrics based at Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin manufacturing facility. POSITION DUTIES: Responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the electrical department of HARIBO\'s Pleasant Prairie manufacturing facility. Specific duties include: Manage the Electrical Department to achieve installation and reliability goals, overseeing all equipment installations, commissioning, and support related to the plant\'s electronic control system, as well as processing and packaging equipment. Manage personnel engaged in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, support systems, and facility improvements, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, as well as overseeing problem-solving processes and adherence to company policies and standards. Manage annual budget, allocating resources as necessary for the efficient operations of the electrical department. Drive improvement of plant electrical systems by leading the identification of opportunities and solutions and collaborate with the Engineering team in the study, design, and implementation of new programs or program modifications. Oversee the study, design, development, and modification of PLC software programs and manage all software and licenses; responsible for backing up programs, software, and licenses related to PLCs. Direct the Electrical Department to ensure it is kept up to date on new equipment and upgrades. Oversee and guide controls technicians in Allen Bradley (AB)/Siemens PLC control level issue diagnosis using ladder logic and Control View HMI. Ensure that the Electrical Department follows change management processes and manage the development of ad hoc PLC ladder code changes and troubleshooting for Siemens-based equipment. Delegate and oversee the completion of technical assignments and work requests through our CMMS (Ultimo). Manage contractors and internal teams to ensure that the electrical components of equipment installation projects are completed on time. Lead continuous improvement activities to monitor and resolve reliability issues and ensure that all measures to guarantee finished products\' compliance with specifications are properly executed. Manage the documentation of control system and equipment configuration changes. Train electrical technicians on HARIBO\'s proprietary equipment and Siemens PLC programs/equipment. Communicate directions to subordinates accurately, clearly, and concisely. Hold self and subordinates accountable for compliance with quality and safety standards. Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness to gain respect amongst leadership, peers, and subordinates. Position also involves the use of the following tools and technologies: Ethernet, CPU backplanes, I/O boards, engineering PMMS software (Ultimo), production monitoring software (BDE/SAP), machine operating software (for programming adjustments and construction), advance automation technology such as PLC controls and SCADA control systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Standard M-F (day shift) schedule applies, plus on call 24/7 for onsite support. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor\'s degree in electronic engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field plus least 5 years of experience working with electrical systems and programs in a confection manufacturing environment. Experience must include at least 2 years leading teams or projects; designing, developing, installing, commissioning, supporting, and providing technical training related to Siemens PLC-based controls; troubleshooting ladder logic; and working with CPU back plains, I/O boards, and Ethernet. Alternatively, will accept 7 years of experience working with electrical systems and programs in a confection manufacturing environment Experience must include at least 2 years leading teams or projects; designing, developing, installing, commissioning, supporting, and providing technical training related to Siemens PLC-based controls; troubleshooting ladder logic; and working with CPU back plains, I/O boards, and Ethernet.
