Lake Forest Senior Living Community Resident Assistant in Plattsburgh, New York
Job Responsibilities:
1.Clean and sanitize resident apartments by following standard operating procedures for both bi-weekly and annual cleanings. Ability to customize plans according to special requests identified by residents.
2.Wash and replace bedding and linens for resident apartments and Lake Forest guest rooms. Guest rooms require full cleaning after each checkout.
3.Clean common areas by following the master checklist delineated by dates and times. Common areas include activities area, library, dining room, hallways, public restrooms, solarium and kitchen and storage areas.
4.Set tables in dining room before meals. Serve meals and bus tables during and after mealtimes. Pre-treat and wash table linens after each meal. Understand and operationalize dining plan that breaks out services for each guest by table number.
5.Able to independently operate dishwasher, bringing dishwasher to temperature standard, use of chemicals, use of hood ventilation.
6.Fully knowledgeable of all cleaning products and proper handling of each. Maintain accurate accounting of inventory and timing for reordering of products.
7.Ability to engage in dialogue with residents with attention to discerning unique differences across a diverse range of individuals.
8.Monitor activities calendar and assist with organization of performances and events in collaboration with team.
9.Assist with basic problem-solving of resident concerns and report substantial issues to management for further follow-up.
10.Provide transportation utilizing the company vehicles in accordance with schedule.
11.Maintain accurate record of chargeable services (e.g., additional cleaning, personal requests, guests meals).
12.Greet and interact with guests that are present on-site. Communicate effectively on marketing of Lake Forest property when inquiries are made on rental of apartments and duplexes.
13.Complete wellness checks each morning for a designated list of residents.
14.Monitor potential safety and hazardous concerns in apartments and common areas. Correspond with management and maintenance team on work orders to address repairs.
