APG-Neuros Assembler in Plattsburgh, New York
A rapidly expanding company supplying high efficient turbo blowers to wastewater treatment plants and other industries is seeking an Assembler.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Installation of Variable Frequency Drives, Sinus Filters and Input Reactors.
2.Installation of Controller Assembly, MCCB and Terminal Block.
3.Build and Install wire harness for power and control lines.
4.Routing of cables and harnesses to/from components.
5.Installation of internal harmonic filter and associated wiring.
6.Stripping and terminating of various cables and harnesses for installation into units.
7.Rework & customization of enclosures as needed.
8.Preparation of required materials and accessories.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Assist in the preparation and shipping of units.
2.Other Duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:1.Basic understanding of electricity.
2.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
3.Handling of forklift and crane
4.Strong attention to detail. Be able to work with minimal supervision.
5.Work in a safe and conscious effort to comply with safety policies and good manufacturing processes.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is normally performed in a manufacturing assembly environment with typical shop hazards. Prescribed personal protective equipment will be required to include eye protection, safety shoes and hearing protection in designated areas.
