Job Description

• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring of Compute Services across company Infrastructure while delivering ITIL functions (Incident Management, Project Management, Change Management, Configuration Management).

• Reviewing “End of Service Life” for Apps & Systems

• Building database servers

• Notify Team when servers are nearing capacity

• Implement and maintain Compute Infrastructure (On-prem & Public Cloud) using ITIL best practices.

• Develop automation scripts to improve the deployment, security, and management of local and cloud resources.

• Determines, follow & align new architecture design, frameworks, and standards for the Compute Services.

• Main responsible to maintain all documentation related Compute Infrastructure Services

• Analyze / Feedback of the current software architecture and enterprise capabilities (scalability, extensibility, maintainability, etc.).

• Monitor and analyze local and cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.

• Participate in the implementation and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans by Project Management procedures.

• Support incident management, service-level management, change management, release management, continuity management, and availability management.

• Manage and align all third-party vendors of the Cloud Services have in the company for Cloud Services.

Pay ranging from $55-60/hr based on location & experience

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience along with strong technical, analytical, and trouble-shooting skills

• Linux and Windows Server experience

• Performing software deployments to the cloud

• Transitioning to the Cloud from on Prem

• Server builds – Ensuring servers are built with the right resources

• Production builds, Server maintenance, App deployments, Vulnerability testing

• Experience opening proxies to transfer from one servcer to another

• Understanding the basic concepts of Networking (ie: pulling IP address from a series, helping with configurations, etc.)

• ITIL / Cloud / Azure / VMWare / DevOps knowledge (AKS / Azure Kubernetes would be a big plus!)

• DevOps - Knowledge of Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and container technologies • RedHat OpenShift

• Firewalls & Network knowledge

• PaaS / SaaS

• AKS

• BA/BS or MA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Additional certifications in related technologies such as DevOps, automation, and networking
