Where you'll work
Our Plant City, FL location is part of our Taste division and creates various fruit flavor profiles and ingredients for Kerry products. This site offers state of the art equipment and technologies unique in the industry to create healthier and nutritious options for Kerry customers.
We are currently looking for someone who is able to work 1st Shift. The hours for this opening are 400AM to 430PM, Monday through Friday. There will also be the opportunity for overtime on the weekend for you to take advantage of!
What you'll do
As a Production Operator you’ll see a product’s transformation from individual ingredients to finished product. You’re the one behind the scenes making it possible for us to ensure top quality of Kerry products. As an entry level role, this is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the food manufacturing industry! This position will allow you to learn all aspects of the food manufacturing world, from gathering the raw ingredients, to operating the different types of machinery, and utilizing your attention to detail to maintain quality and follow strict SOP's and GMP's. If you’re active, this is the role for you because you’ll use your hustle for lifting and transporting bags of up to 50lbs of dry ingredients into the machines or stacking finished products onto pallets. If you have good communication skills and enjoy working with a team, we may be the place for you!
You’ll be a key part of a high performing team that keeps production lines running efficiently while working together to ensure we all have a safe workplace.
What you'll need to be successful and safe
Thinking of joining a gym? No need! This role will require lifting 50lbs bags of ingredients by hand.
You will be moving and transferring ingredients by hand, cart, and forklift, so we prefer some experience (don’t worry, we’ll train you if you are not certified).

The pay rate for this position is $22.00 per hour. Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance.
