Responsibilities:
Provides services for the pastoral/spiritual needs and education of patients, families, team members.
Knowledgeable in the areas of theology, spirituality, and pastoral care.
Performs pastoral care functions as needed to support the spiritual and emotional health and well-being of those served.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ecclesiastical Endorsement is Required.
Catholic Priest chaplains must have Faculty for Sacraments from the Local Ordinary of the Roman Catholic Diocese/Archdiocese.
400 hours, 1 Unit, of Clinical Pastoral Education is required.
Required - Bachelors - Theology Related; Required - Continuing Education Hours - Clinical Pastoral; Preferred - Masters - Theology Related
This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration ( AHCA ). More information can be found at https://info.flclearinghouse.com .
