As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the (insert LOB or sub LOB), you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.
Job responsibilities
Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose data and reporting solutions to meet current and future needs.
Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy.
Helps define client experience, strategy, roadmap for product go to market and breakdown of technical delivery.
Participates in architecture governance bodies
Executes creative data and reporting solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
6+ years Hands-on practical experience delivering Data Architecture and Reporting & Analytics solutions with practical cloud native experience.
Strong technical background with design and delivery experience with software patterns and principles.
Experience as a functional architect (business / product)
Experience with domain model, understands business process flow, client experience and use cases
Understands business capability, features taxonomy
Strong communication and leadership presence
Ability to Partner with business teams to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions with client experience focus.
Proven experience to solution designs for data, reporting and analytics based on client needsAPI and data integration architecture.
Define data standards, governance, and best practices in compliance to regional and controls needs.
Including data retention policies that adhere to regional standards.
Develop data warehouse and data lake architecture ensuring data quality and data management processes.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools
Experience in designing on cloud data platforms (AWS)
Implement data pipelines and data transformation strategies
Architect scalable reporting architecture and BI solutions
Define reporting data marts and semantic layers as well as dashboard and reporting tools such as: Tableau
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Payments/Acquiring experience is a plus.
Relevant Data products certification is a plus.
Cloud certifications is a plus.
