Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler with at least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment. This position is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity located in Plano, TX, requiring commitment to a full-time schedule on the first shift (Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm).
Responsibilities
Read and understand assembly drawings.
Assemble and build mail automation equipment.
Use both hand and power tools to assemble equipment.
Work independently and within a team depending on the project requirements.
Essential Skills
Ability to read assembly drawings.
Recognition of parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears.
Identification of hardware including screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.
Experience with both hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
