Job Summary
The Manager of Operations, THH Partnership Services serves as a strategic leader responsible for cultivating and sustaining executive-level partnerships, ensuring high-impact delivery of consulting and partnership services, and advancing cardiovascular (CV) excellence across the partnership enterprise. This role operates at the intersection of relationship management, operational execution, and clinical performance improvement—driving measurable value through the dissemination and adoption of best practices in CV care. This leader acts as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners, driving the dissemination of CV best practices, elevating quality outcomes, and strengthening the overall health, value, and growth of each partnership.
Essential Functions of the Role
Executive Relationship Management & Strategic Partnership Leadership
Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned partner organizations, building trusted, executive-level relationships grounded in credibility, responsiveness, and results
Act as a strategic advisor to partner executives, aligning services with organizational priorities, growth strategies, and performance goals
Proactively assess partnership health, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement, expand services, and enhance long-term value
Contract Execution & Service Delivery ExcellenceEnsure full execution of consulting and partnership services in alignment with contractual agreements (e.g., MSA, PSA, consulting engagements)
Translate contractual commitments into clear operational plans, deliverables, and timelines
Drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
Monitor and report on service performance, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed expectations
Partnership Performance & Value Realization
Continuously evaluate the overall health and effectiveness of partnerships using defined performance metrics, KPIs, and stakeholder feedback
Identify and mitigate risks to partnership success while proactively advancing opportunities for growth and optimization
Deliver regular executive-level updates summarizing outcomes, impact, and forward strategy
Clinical Excellence & Best Practice Dissemination
Serve as a conduit for cardiovascular best practices, leveraging insights from The Heart Hospital and across the BSWH system
Facilitate the adoption and operationalization of evidence-based care models, protocols, and quality initiatives
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to reduce variability, improve outcomes, and enhance patient experience
Quality Outcomes & Performance Improvement
Lead initiatives aimed at elevating CV quality outcomes, including mortality, complication rates, efficiency, and patient-centered metrics
Utilize data, analytics, and benchmarking to identify performance gaps and drive targeted improvement strategies
Collaborate with quality, analytics, and clinical teams to ensure sustained performance improvement and measurable impact
Key Success Factors
Experience in healthcare hospital operations, healthcare consulting, business operations, or healthcare improvement.
Experience presenting to all levels of management within a healthcare organization preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong strategic thinking, systems thinking, and problem-solving abilities required.
Demonstrated strengths working in a dynamic, ambiguous, and everchanging work environment.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Strong executive presence and critical thinking skills.
Deep analytical skills and data management experience.
Confident with a servant leadership mind-set.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Formal consulting expertise or clinical experience (RN, Nurse Practitioner, PA, etc.)
Master’s degree
Project management experience
Cardiovascular exposure preferred; however, healthcare experience is required
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
